Job summary

Forvia is seeking a senior program leader to coordinate cross-functional activities across Sales, Controlling, Costing, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering. You will drive program performance, mentor a team, and represent the program to customers, ensuring change management and data continuity.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in automotive design or operations, strong communication, and the ability to work in a matrix organization with international exposure.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in design & development or industrial operations in automotive.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure resources are provided in time from Sales, Controlling, Costing, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering functions.
  • Manage serial life program performance through KPIs like PPM, scrap, and operating margin.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of direct reports with performance reviews.
  • Act as the official Faurecia/Forvia program representative to the customer.
  • Apply Engineering Change Management processes and maintain program documentation.
  • Organize program communication and ensure data continuity with customers, suppliers, and centers.
  • Ensure adherence to Faurecia/Forvia standards, quality, HSE, safety, and regulatory policies.
  • Identify continuous improvement ideas for cost reduction and efficiency.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the necessary resources are provided in due time from the different functions (Sales, Controlling, Costing, Plant Purchasing, Quality, Product & Process Engineering…)
  • Manage serial life program performance through indicators (Customer PPM, Scrap, Operating Margin…)
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of direct reports.
  • Direct report performance tracking and reviews
  • Initiate in strong relationship with the Operations and Manage convergence plan to achieve the targets
  • Cascade Program objectives on to the functions
  • Act as official Faurecia Program representative towards the customer
  • Apply Engineering Change Management process
  • Ensure a permanent reservoir of productivity ideas
  • Ensure program documentation organization for data continuity between customers, suppliers, R&D centers and Plants
  • Organize communication throughout the program life including confidentiality management
  • Ensure that the functions use the Faurecia standard tools
  • Ensure the compliance of Programs with Customer Quality systems, HSE, Safety and Regulation standards
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
