Overview

Our client is seeking a Sr SEO Analyst. Our client is seeking an SEO partner to help us identify and compete for high value search traffic that aligns with current business priorities. Our focus is on leveraging SEO best practices and tooling to help drive content optimization targeting search opportunities related to our client's current website.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Keyword, Topic & Opportunity Identification The vendor should identify and prioritize search topics that:
• Have significant and relevant organic search demand and align with clients test catalog and strategic priorities
• Represent opportunities where MCL can realistically compete for and grow share of search
• Prioritize topics that are relevant for target MCL audiences and applicable for our primarily B2B model
• 1. Competitive & Share of Search Analysis For prioritized topics, the vendor should:
• Identify which competitors are currently leading in share of search for both traditional search results and generative AI
• Assess relative strengths and weaknesses at the topic level
• Quantify current and potential share of search
• Clearly articulate where MCL is under represented, competitive, or advantaged Insights should be framed to support efforts to compete for traffic that align with MCL priorities.
• 1. Content Analysis Once we've identified topics that MCL should consider targeting, the vendor should:
• Align topic keywords with user intent
• Assist in audience and task analysis related to the identified topics
• Assess current MCL content supporting those tasks and find opportunities for optimization
• Plan new and changed content to target those topics Success will be measured by:
• Improved organic visibility and share of search in prioritized topics
• Growth in qualified, non branded organic traffic
• Creation of scalable, repeatable topic and content frameworks
• Clear alignment between SEO efforts and MCL business priorities

Required Skills

• Essential: Experience optimizing for B2B use cases
• 3 years of agency experience or managing enterprise SEO campaigns
• 3 years experience SEM and SEO Experience developing and implementing SEO strategies, conducting technical audits and SEO problem solving.
• 3 years experience leading projects in a complex environment.
• 3 years experience in SEO content development/management within a digital setting.
• 3 years experience with Digital Analytics and/or quantitative analysis skills.
• 3 years experience conducting keyword research
• 3 years experience link acquisition, content promotion and outreach
• 3 years of SEO technical experience including site performance optimization, structured data and A/B testing. Strong understanding of SEM, Social Media and eCommerce Expert in utilizing SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor, Google AdWords, Screaming frog or other SEO tools Advanced experience with Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console
• Experience working with CMS environments such as Sitecore and WordPress Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access
• Ability to initiate and drive projects, tenacity to deliver results in a complex environment and to manage work across multiple projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions in order to analyze data, interpret results and recommend solutions to enable teams to make decisions around optimizing or understanding product investments.
• Keen problem solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities..
• High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Must be self-motivated.

Strongly Preferred Skills

• Experience with SEMRush, GEO, AI search visibility
• Experience working with technical product catalogs
• Experience working with Adobe tools, especially customer journal analytics

Education Required

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Marketing or other degree.
