BASF Agricultural Solutions seeks a Senior Seeds & Traits Portfolio Lead, Soy, to shape and integrate the global Seeds & Traits portfolio strategy for the Soy Crop System across Drive and Non-Drive Countries. Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Seed Science, Biology, Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in Seeds & Traits, crop systems, portfolio management, trait commercialization, strategic marketing, or related agricultural businesses.
• Proven track record leading global or multi-regional seed, trait, licensing, or commercialization initiatives.
• Influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions, business units, and geographies.
• Expertise in integrating technical, commercial, regulatory, breeding, supply chain, and licensing considerations into strategic decisions.
• Deep knowledge of trait launch strategy, agronomic positioning, integrated solutions, licensing, and go-to-market execution.

• Shaping and owning the long-term global Seeds & Traits portfolio strategy for the Soy Crop System across Drive and Non-Drive Countries.
• Leading complex global trait launches and new crop or country introductions with governance and milestones.
• Creating integrated Soy solutions across Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, and Digital Farming.
• Influencing major portfolio, commercialization, and resource decisions with market potential and financial implications.
• Leading strategic seed and trait licensing opportunities globally and shaping negotiation positions.
• Serving as the global Seeds & Traits authority for the Soy Crop System in senior governance forums.
• Mentoring launch and portfolio colleagues and sharing best practices across regions.

The Senior Seeds & Traits Portfolio Lead, Soy is the global strategic leader accountable for shaping and integrating the Seeds & Traits portfolio strategy across the Soy Crop System and across both Drive and Non-Drive Countries. The role leads complex, high-impact trait launches, new crop and country introductions, portfolio positioning, licensing, breeding and multiplication alignment, demand planning, and integrated solution development across Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, and Digital Farming. Working with broad autonomy, the role challenges established approaches, influences major business and portfolio decisions, and leads global planning teams to secure senior cross-functional and regional alignment.

• Shaping and owning the long-term global Seeds & Traits portfolio strategy for the Soy Crop System across Drive and Non-Drive Countries, identifying strategic opportunities and translating priorities into portfolio choices and investment recommendations.
• Leading complex global trait launches and new crop or country introductions, establishing governance, cross-functional plans, and milestones covering branding, positioning, licensing, regulatory inputs, and demand forecasts.
