Job description

Title: Sr. Application Security Engineer (Threat Modeler)

Location: Onsite based in Tampa, FL; Tempe, AZ; Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 12+ months Long Term Project

Compensation: $75.00-87.00/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Project:

This role will focus on integrating and executing an effective Threat Modeling program within the Enterprise Information Security Risk Next Generation across the Combined U.S. Operations (CUSO) processes and the overall Application Security model.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing threat modeling and providing security consulting to business developers, system designers, and engineers.
2. Developing and implementing security threat modeling plans.
3. Supporting threat modeling tools and identifying associated controls.
4. Developing and generating related metrics and reports.

Major Responsibilities:

• Monitor information security issues related to company systems and workflows to ensure internal security controls are appropriate and operational.
• Manage threat modeling processes to help technology teams, control partners, and business stakeholders understand and prioritize security gaps.
• Generate security trend analyses and vulnerability reports.
• Utilize the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify and mitigate threats.
• Identify and implement controls to mitigate threats.
• Cross-train teams on threat modeling techniques and best practices.
