Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Security Control Assessor Representative to guide programs through RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes, enabling Interim Authority to Operate (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) decisions across multiple platforms in the defense space.

The role requires conducting vulnerability and risk assessments, reviewing program documentation to ensure security requirements, and coordinating with program management on milestones.

Qualifications

• BS / BA and 10 years of directly related experience
• Active Top-Secret clearance
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III certification
• Experience with DoDI 8500.01 & 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, and RMF

Responsibilities

• Support and guide programs through the RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes leading to successful Interim Authority to Operate (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) decisions across multiple platforms
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments as a security control assessor representative (SCAR) supporting multiple programs and customers
• Perform key cybersecurity analyses and use technical risk management principles to assess Air Force PIT systems
• Review program documentation (concept, requirements, design, manuals, reports, deficiency/change reports and program schedules) to ensure security requirements are addressed
• Perform document review and editing, as requested
• Support, coordinate, and assist with Program Management/Milestone driven events, including Program Protection requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Sr Security Control Assessor Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Support and guide programs through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes leading to successful Interim Authority to Operate (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) decisions across multiple platforms
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments as a security control assessor representative (SCAR) supporting multiple programs and customers
• Perform key cybersecurity analyses and use technical risk management principles to assess Air Force Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems
• Review program documentation (e.g., concept, requirements, design, manuals, reports, deficiency/change reports and program schedules) to ensure that established security requirements are adequately addressed and sustained
• Perform document review and editing, as requested
• Support, coordinate, and assist with Program Management/Milestone driven events, etc., including Program Protection requirements as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Work Environment

• Location: Onsite, Eglin AFB, FL
• Travel Requirements: Minimal, less than 20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS / BA and 10 years of directly related experience
• Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance.
• Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M (IAM Level III)
• Experience: Familiarity with DoDI 8500.01 & 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, and RMF

Desired Qualifications

• CISSP certification highly desired
• Cloud certification highly desired
