Job Qualifications: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, Software Development

Job Description: GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and collaborative candidate to join our team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) Case Management Systems Office (CMSO) in Washington, DC. The CMSO has a mature Agile practice using the SAFe framework. GDIT provides full software development lifecycle support for complex business-critical systems, including program and project management, requirements analysis, solutions architecture, and software engineering. Our systems support judiciary functions nationwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies: daily standups, Sprint Planning/Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives
  • Maintain JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile values, principles, practices, and processes
  • Enable team to become self-organizing and self-managing
  • Work with Product Management to develop release plans and manage product backlogs
  • Motivate teams and ensure collective responsibility for work
  • Identify, address, and communicate project risks and impediments
  • Ensure the team's “definition of done” is well defined
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Build a trusting and safe environment for problem solving
  • Assess Scrum maturity and coach the team to higher levels
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings for cross-team coordination
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years of experience in Agile environment
  • Experience with SAFe framework
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-tempo environment
  • Experience in software development or related organization
  • Strong team dynamics and collaboration skills
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Energetic, proactive, goal-oriented, and patient

The salary range is approximately $118,261 - $160,001, based on experience and location.
