Job summary

GDIT is seeking a seasoned Agile professional to drive program increment planning, coach teams and Product Owners, and manage expectations across multiple Product Owners.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, maintain JIRA dashboards, and mentor team members on Agile values. You’ll work with Product Management to plan releases and ensure backlogs are well-groomed, while identifying risks and impediments and communicating them to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in an Agile development environment.
• Experience implementing SAFe.
• Experience in software development organization.
• CSM or PMI-ACP certification.
• PMP certification.
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation and coaching skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and plans that meet Program Increment (PI) objectives
• Coach technical teams and Product Owners on Agile concepts including Epic and User Story creation
• Manage expectations with multiple Product Owners
• Facilitate horizontal and vertical communication across team members to identify dependencies and risks
• Organize and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies: daily standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Maintain JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
• Mentor and coach team members on core Agile values and processes
• Work with Product Management to develop release plans and ensure backlogs are well-groomed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus at least five (5+) years of experience in Agile development environment
• Experience with using and implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Experience with software development or working in a software development organization
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP)
• Must have PMP certification
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and coaching skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
