Job Description
At AbbVie, the Genomics Research Center (GRC) is a center of excellence for genetics and genomics that works with both Discovery and Development. Within the GRC, the Department of Bioinformatics is responsible for data analysis and provides analytical insights for both internal and external data. The Neuroscience Bioinformatics group of the GRC bioinformatics team partners with the AbbVie Neuroscience department to leverage OMICS data and bioinformatics analysis to identify and develop innovative approaches and strategies to address brain disorders.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician in the Neuroscience Bioinformatics group of the GRC, based in Lake County (North Chicago, IL). The successful candidate will work closely with bioinformatics and wet-lab groups in North Chicago, IL; Cambridge, MA; Ludwigshafen, Germany, to contribute to target and biomarker identification, validation, and project advancement through OMICS data analysis.
