Job summary

FICO is seeking a seasoned analytics leader to oversee teams building high-end models for US credit risk. You will ensure regulatory compliant scores, work with large real-world data, and translate complex analytics into clear insights for stakeholders.

You will apply neural networks, regression, random forests, and other methods while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong experience with predictive modeling and data mining.
  • Experience with U.S. Credit Bureau data is highly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical topics.

What You’ll Contribute
  • Oversee project teams building high-end analytic models and tools for relevant problems using statistical modeling techniques.
  • Ensure the development of regulatory compliant FICO Scores to the US market.
  • Work with large amounts of real-world data and ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including data collection, normalization and transformation.
  • Research and select appropriate statistical methods and computational algorithms.
  • Lead and managecritical projects across FICO Scores, working under time constraints and partnering with cross-functional teams to translate complex models and analytics into clear insights.
  • Serve as a trusted analytic partner, assisting with client meetings to provide support, investigate issues, and resolve problems.
  • Leverage and apply advanced data mining methodology to drive in-depth model behavior analysis, guidance on model construction, and deliver key insights and direction for internal/external stakeholders.
What We’re Seeking
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other Natural Science fields (Highly Preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency using analytic techniques such as neural networks, logistic regression, non-linear regression, random forests, decision trees, support vector machines, linear/non-linear optimization (Highly Preferred).
  • Deep level of expertise in predictive modeling and data mining, with demonstrated hands-on related experience in a relevant industry.
  • Experience working with U.S. Credit Bureau data (Highly Preferred).
  • Extensive experience analyzing large data sets and applying data-cleaning techniques along with performing statistical analyses leading to the understanding of the structure of data sets.
  • Proven experience working with at least two of the following: Python, Java, R, SQL, MATLAB, SAS, C++ or C.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally with various stakeholders and senior leadership, including experience presenting and articulating technical topics and analytics.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $140,000 to $220,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
