Sr. Scala Developer | 12+ Months | St. Louis, Missouri | 08-03-2015

Senior Scala Developer with hands-on experience writing Scala architecture on OS X and AWS models; experience coding in Clojure, Java, and/or Python is also a plus. Client is building a cloud-based 'Big Data' analytics platform using open-source and SaaS tools; familiarity with Apache Kafka and Samza is highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Test-Driven Environments, Agile Methodologies, and Continuous Integration and Deployment, in addition to analytics-specific techniques such as Machine Learning and Bayesian Methods. Must be familiar with NoSQL on the back-end.
