Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) lead to design, enhance, build, and test global financial processes with deep SAP CO expertise. You will drive product costing, cost center accounting, CO-PA, Internal Orders, and FP&A integration within SAP S/4HANA Central Finance.

You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with upstream/downstream modules (MM, PP, SD), and manage Agile delivery, change control, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field
• 10+ years SAP Finance experience
• 10+ years as an SAP Analyst
• SAP S/4HANA Central Finance and CO integration experience
• Agile and change management; collaborate with MSPs and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management; coaching and cross-functional issue resolution

Description Overview

• Lead the design, enhancement, build, and testing of global financial processes with deep expertise in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Drive costing and controlling capabilities while supporting SAP Central Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Reporting.

Scope of the Role

Project Leadership:

• Contribute to Global Finance projects focused on SAP CO (Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis/CO-PA, and Internal Orders).
• Guide technical decision-making from inception to completion; ensure delivery and budget adherence.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, and implement strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure Controlling alignment with upstream/downstream integrations (MM, PP, SD) and Central Finance.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Design and execute scalable enhancements for Costing (Product Costing & Global Product Costing) and Controlling/FP&A/Treasury/Tax/Reporting.

Operational Excellence:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications (costing/controlling focus).
• Provide business consulting; ensure solutions align with best practices and Perrigo templates.
• Gatekeep global template consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead change control and documentation; drive Agile delivery (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos).
• Maintain up-to-date functional specs and technical documentation.

Strategic Planning and Process Improvement:

• Streamline development processes aligned to business strategy.
• Develop best practices via workflows; identify optimization and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Contribute to roadmaps for key financial applications/processes.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field + 10+ years as an SAP Analyst.
• 10+ years SAP Finance specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Experience delivering global enhancements/new builds; managing large-scale projects.
• SAP S/4HANA Central Finance and CO integration experience.
• Agile and change management; collaborate with MSPs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management; coaching and cross-functional issue resolution; prioritize and meet deadlines.

Skills

• Deep SAP CO: Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, CO-PA, Internal Orders, allocations/settlements.
• SAP configuration standards; S/4HANA Central Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Reporting.
• Analytical/problem-solving; understand impacts on financial processes, data, and SAP integrations.
• Project management; written/verbal communication; knowledge of global finance/cost accounting best practices.
