Overview

Sr. SAP S/4 HANA IBP Functional Architect - Mostly Remote with some travel

Sr SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) functional Architect consultant, you will be a SME contributing to working with the business and helping design and then implement different phases of the project. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the "as is" and "to be" identifying the gaps and problems the new solution is solving as you propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the design and architecture for the development team to build and configure and deployment the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in IBP functional design and implementation across project phases.
  • Facilitate business process consulting to define current (“as is”) state, identify gaps, and design the future (“to be”) solution.
  • Contribute to architecture and design for development, configuration, and deployment of the IBP solution.
  • Guide project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building.
  • Help define project scope and shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with AI Solutions and SAP embedded AI within SAP.

Qualifications
  • 11+ years of experience with SAP and 5-8+ years in IBP for Supply and Supply Chain Planning.
  • 12+ full cycle implementations of IBP for Supply with solid exposure to IBP configuration and support.
  • S4-IBP integration for Master Data and Transaction Data.
  • Deep understanding of IBP Supply planning processes including heuristic and optimizer.
  • Past experience supporting APO Supply planning and integration is a plus.
  • Ability to work with offshore teams to coordinate production support (job monitoring/issue resolution).
  • CI-DS trouble-shooting experience desirable.
  • Strong customer service capability, quick learner, and collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Integration experience with Demand, Inventory, Replenishment Planning is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP IBP for Supply planning.
  • Ability to work off hours/weekends, if required.
Travel and Physical Demands

The job entails extensive travel. The role requires sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or in person.

    • Analytics and Dashboards: Real-time visibility and scenario modeling.
  • Collaboration Tools:
    • Process Management: Workflow tracking within planning processes.
    • SAP Jam: Social collaboration for team communication.
Data Flow and Integration
  1. Data Inbound: Master and transactional data from source systems via SAP CPI-DS.
  2. Data Processing: Transform and load into IBP’s harmonized data model on SAP HANA.
