Job summary

Droisys is seeking an SAP EWM Functional Lead to design, implement, and support warehouse and logistics systems across automotive/hardware sectors. The role requires 15+ years of hands-on SAP EWM configuration and strong collaboration with supply chain, manufacturing, and IT teams.

Two on-site locations are listed: Foster City, CA, or Chicago, IL and Ellabell, GA, with day-one presence five days a week for key accounts.

SAP EWM Functional Lead

Location - There are 2 roles required, presence from day one, for five days a week. For 1st account that is Zoox,

Foster City, CA, US and For 2nd account that is AGCO, Chicago,IL or Ellabell, Georgia, US.

We're looking for an SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) specialist to design, implement, and support warehouse and logistics systems that keep our manufacturing, fleet operations, and parts distribution running smoothly.

JD:

• Configure and support SAP EWM processes including inbound/outbound logistics, putaway and picking strategies, wave management, labor management, and yard management
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics teams to translate warehouse operational needs (parts staging, vehicle component kitting, fleet part distribution) into scalable SAP EWM solutions
• Support integration between EWM and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) as well as automation/robotics interfaces relevant to a highly automated fulfillment environment
• Lead or support EWM implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working cross-functionally with IT, warehouse operations, and external vendors
• Evaluate and integrate automation technologies (conveyor systems, RF devices, automated storage/retrieval systems) with EWM, particularly relevant given Zoox's use of robotics and advanced automation
• Develop documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for warehouse system users
• Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse workflows using data analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Ensure system configurations support compliance, safety, and quality standards specific to automotive/hardware component handling.
• 15+ years of hands‑on SAP EWM configuration and implementation experience (decentralized or embedded EWM)
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations: inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, slotting, and resource management
• Experience integrating EWM with MM/SD/PP modules and material flow systems (MFS) a plus
• Familiarity with automation and robotics-integrated warehouses is highly valued given Zoox's operational environment
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• SAP EWM certification is a plus

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands‑on SAP EWM configuration expertise — deep, practical experience configuring core EWM processes (inbound/outbound logistics, putaway/picking strategies, wave management, labor and yard management). This is the technical foundation the role is built on.
• Warehouse operations & automation integration knowledge — understanding real‑world warehouse workflows (inventory management, slotting, resource management) combined with the ability to integrate EWM with automation and robotics systems (conveyors, RF devices, ASRS, material flow systems). This is especially critical at Zoox given its highly automated, robotics‑driven environment.
• Cross‑functional collaboration and communication — the ability to translate operational needs from supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics teams into scalable SAP solutions, and to work effectively with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
