Role Overview: Sr. Salesforce Architect

Susan G. Komen seeks a Sr. Salesforce Architect passionate about building and maintaining scalable Salesforce applications and integrations. You will oversee all aspects of Salesforce.com and Force.com platform architecture, developing quality solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable, sustainable Salesforce solutions.
• Ensure Salesforce configuration supports business needs and manage related enhancement projects.
• Manage Salesforce Health Cloud operations, including oversight, maintenance, and training.
• Design and implement technical solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manage Salesforce permission models and enforce development lifecycle practices.
• Project manage and report progress regularly to stakeholders.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and third-party applications.
• Establish best practices and governance for Salesforce solutions.
• Identify process improvements using Salesforce capabilities.
• Oversee integrations with other Salesforce orgs and external systems.
• Mentor Salesforce team members and external developers, including managing the Salesforce Administrator for Health Cloud.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of relevant experience, with 10+ in leadership roles on Salesforce projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce Certifications: Application Architect and/or System Architect, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I.
• Experience with offshore teams, external vendors, agile environments, and Salesforce integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional Salesforce certifications such as Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, and Deployment Architect.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce development lifecycle, Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Proficiency with deployment tools like Flosum and data management tools.
• Strong creative and strategic thinking skills.
