What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales with new customers while enhancing existing revenues in state government markets
- Navigate complex procurement processes and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve quotas
- Understand market regulations and funding mechanisms relevant to state governments
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical government officials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals ($200K-$1M+)
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel to customer locations 70% of the time with up to 40% overnight travel
- Reside in the designated sales territory
