What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales with new customers and grow existing revenues in public records and investigative content
- Close complex, long-cycle enterprise deals while managing RFX processes and government contracting requirements
- Build relationships with government officials and systems integrators while networking in relevant associations
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast in complex sales cycles
- Understand and communicate technical capabilities to non-technical stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work from a home office and travel to customer locations 70% of the time
- Must reside within the sales territory (OH, MI, PA)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in closing enterprise deals ranging from $200K to $1M+
- Familiarity with state procurement processes and relevant regulations
- Strong understanding of state IT infrastructure challenges
- Experience with strategic networking in government associations and conferences
- Knowledge of CLEAR's technical capabilities and competitive positioning
