Role Description

The Sr. ROW Agent is a full-time role responsible for leading and executing right-of-way acquisition and land-related activities for energy and infrastructure projects. This hybrid position is based in San Antonio, TX, with a mix of in-office, field, and work-from-home responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating easements and land agreements with landowners, conducting title and property research, and coordinating with surveyors, engineers, and project managers. The Sr. ROW Agent will prepare and review land-related documents, maintain accurate records and project status reports, and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. The role also includes resolving landowner concerns, supporting route selection and project planning, and mentoring junior agents to promote consistent, high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in ROW acquisition, land management, or land services for energy, pipeline, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong skills in negotiation, landowner relations, and conflict resolution to secure easements and agreements effectively.
• Proficiency in title research, document review, and basic understanding of property law and real estate principles.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, surveying, legal, and construction personnel.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, including accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and use of project management tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and legal concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including field work, office-based tasks in San Antonio, TX, and remote work as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the project area for landowner meetings and site visits.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead ROW role and familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Land Management, Real Estate, Business) or equivalent relevant experience.
