Role Description

We are seeking a senior roving building engineer to oversee daily operations across multiple bank branch locations in the Bay Area. This role is responsible for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance systems perform optimally. The senior roving building engineer serves as the primary technical expert and the first point of contact for client escalations, facility management, and compliance oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee HVAC systems, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with EPA and industry standards.
• Conduct electrical and plumbing troubleshooting and repairs.
• Manage life safety systems, including fire panels, emergency lighting, and exit signage.
• Complete detailed monthly MCIM reports for each location, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors for specialized work.
• Lead improvement projects and minor construction initiatives as assigned.
• Provide on-site inspections and quality checks at each branch to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Act as the client liaison for daily issues, ensuring high client satisfaction and service excellence.
• Track inventory and supplies for each location.
• Maintain and upgrade commercial properties as instructed via work orders.
• Repair, replace, and install minor property equipment and hardware as directed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
• Perform office updates, including painting, carpet cleaning, furniture moving, and room repairs.
• Handle basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Perform drywall, window, and roof repairs.
