Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer to support a government services organization within the defense sector. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and onsite work at Fort Meade, MD.

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for mission-critical operations. Responsibilities include designing and supporting large-scale routing/switching, Cisco infrastructure, automation with Python, and collaboration with cybersecurity and systems

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise routing and switching environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Experience developing automation and network management solutions using Python.
• Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaborative development practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer to support a leading government services organization within the defense industry. The Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer will serve as a senior-level technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations. This role requires an active TS/SCI Clearance and is onsite five days per week at Fort Meade.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer:

• Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise routing and switching environments.

Compensation for the Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $170,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
