Required licenses include Series 6/7, 63, and 65/66.

Job Description Summary

We focus on retirement plans for high-profile organizations, aiming to facilitate successful retirements for individuals. The role involves engaging multiple decision-makers, requiring teamwork, strategic thinking, and relationship management. If you excel at collaboration, connection, and communication to build and retain business relationships, we want to hear from you!

As a Senior Retirement Specialist, your responsibilities include driving sales, providing education, and delivering service to plan participants. You will develop and maintain relationships, conduct educational sessions, and identify prospects for new small cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and conduct seminars for potential and existing participants within your territory.
  • Support the Program Director in territory planning, strategy execution, and team development.
  • Serve as a financial resource, providing counseling on retirement plans to promote sales growth.
  • Develop relationships with key contacts to expand product and service offerings.
  • Assist in training on new presentations, products, and policy updates.
  • Lead a team of Retirement Specialists and serve as a point of contact for inquiries.
  • Lead special projects related to marketing, customer service, and administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to resolve customer issues and improve processes.

Other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Retirement Services Program Director; no direct reports.

Qualifications:

Education: Undergraduate degree in related fields preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: FINRA Series 6, life, and health licenses required; Series 63 and 65 may be necessary.

Experience: Minimum of three years in financial, sales, or educational services.

Skills: Knowledge of 457 plans, financial products, and the public sector; strong communication, presentation, and territory management skills; ability to navigate political and economic landscapes effectively.

Leadership qualities and other competencies may be prioritized.

Additional Information:

Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the territory. Work may include remote options.
