Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Sr Research Contract Specialist to negotiate and prepare clinical research contracts, including CTAs, NDAs, and MTAs.

This role supports our Research Office by ensuring accurate contract terms, risk mitigation, and timely execution with academic medical centers and industry partners. The candidate will leverage advanced contract management skills, strategic negotiation, and regulatory knowledge to improve processes, mentor team members, and drive value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in research administration or contract-related work.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and prepare clinical research study contracts including Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Clinical Trial Agreements.
• Draft and redline contract terms to finalization with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate Master Service Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Data Transfer Agreements, and related documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations and NIH guidelines as they pertain to contracts and inventions.

Mastery in contract law, particularly in research agreements, with a systematic approach from redlining to finalizing.* Strategic Communication and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to strategically communicate intricate contract details and negotiation outcomes with clarity and precision. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $106,400 - $153,400. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
