The Building People, LLC, ("TBP") has a position open for a full-time Senior & Relocation Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver a 2-part relocation project that includes an initial office space outfitting and transitioning move into temporary space and a final relocation to permanent space for approximately 750 employees in the Washington DC area. The Senior Relocation Project Manager reports to the TBP Senior Principal.
The successful candidate will manage project resources, schedules, financials and adhere to federal government quality control guidelines throughout the project life cycle. This also includes management of client risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will supervise all TBP personnel assigned to the project including time coding, leave approval, training, performance management and disciplinary actions.
This leadership role has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for ensuring the project achieves the required quality of deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined by the client. Also, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company culture that fosters creativity, innovation, and advancement.
