Within the Actuarial Department, you’ll have the opportunity to develop significant expertise and ownership. The ideal candidate in this role will have strong technical skills, demonstrated critical thinking, and an ability to effectively communicate and partner with technical and non-technical partners. In this position, you will collaborate with underwriting, CAT modeling, and claims counterparts to drive profitable growth in our Alternative Distribution segment through the pricing of its Assumed Re book of business. This role is part of the Actuarial Student Program at UFG and is eligible for exam support through study hours and financial benefits.
UFG Insurance is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $136,000 annually, which represents the typical range for new hires in this role. Individual pay within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, geography and market data.
