Overview

The Senior Recruiting Manager – DMS Services leads the full-cycle recruitment process to meet client needs in the Centerline DMS Services Division. This role drives talent acquisition efforts from sourcing to offer extension, ensuring candidates align with Centerline’s hiring standards, DOT requirements, and any specific account criteria. Additionally, the position emphasizes a customer-centric approach, enhancing Centerline’s reputation as a top employer.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact and build strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, proactively reaching out to qualified candidates.
  • Represent Centerline at community and industry events; coordinate job fairs and hiring events.
  • Conduct client and driver site visits quarterly, fostering positive client and candidate interactions.
  • Participate in driver safety meetings and support safe-driving initiatives, including Smith System training.
  • Manage daily applicant communications, including responding to applicant inquiries and guiding them on DMS job opportunities.
  • Source candidates through online platforms (CareerBuilder, Indeed, Tenstreet), social media, and resume databases.
  • Create and post recruitment materials, ensuring thorough visibility across various channels.
  • Conduct application reviews and candidate interviews, assessing qualifications, work history, and compensation expectations.
  • Confirm interview schedules, manage no-shows, and verify employment history within a 72-hour processing timeframe.
  • Identify new recruitment sources and contribute to strategic planning for growth in emerging markets.
  • Collaborate weekly with the Managing Director of DMS on account growth and prioritize hard-to-fill roles with the DMS team.
  • Maintain communication through client updates, reports, and team meetings, including participation in weekly recruiting and safety discussions.
  • Coordinate quarterly random drug tests and support location managers with office supply needs.
  • Work closely with other Centerline Recruiting Managers to synchronize recruitment activities nationwide, producing weekly reports on applicant flow and hires.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or transportation.
  • Strong selling and marketing skills to attract top talent.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); ATS preferred experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage at all levels of management and with diverse candidates.
  • Skilled in behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • Knowledgeable in federal and state HR and recruiting regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a car for work-related travel.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Understanding of FMCSA and OSHA regulations.

Salary Range: $66,216.09 - $82,770.11 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
