Job summary

Micron Technology Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a data-focused engineer to support inline inspection equipment, develop software to improve line health, and quantify wafer fabrication performance through data visualization and reporting.

You will collaborate with process, data science, and yield teams, apply Python, C/C++, SQL, and Java, and build dashboards in JMP, Spotfire, or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Applying data science and data manipulation including scripting or coding.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with RDA or semiconductor manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of semiconductor physics and real-time data processing.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or Jupyter.
• Experience with JMP, SPOTFIRE, or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, and monitor inline processes and equipment.
• Develop software to improve data transfer, data collection, and reporting.

Utilize state-of-the-art inline RDA Inspection equipment and processes to troubleshoot, inspect, develop software to improve and monitor the line health. Develop inspection techniques, recipes, interactive team member programs, data transfer and applications to quantify the performance of wafer fabrication and team support. Detect problems and make changes to develop applications to improve data collection and wafer fabrication. Use data analysis skills and software development to visualize, report and quantify processes. Collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within the facility. Responsible for supporting experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, software development to improve data transfer, data collection and reporting as well as partnering with others in Technical Development and High-Volume Manufacturing.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
