Qualifications

• ARRT certified or ORD registered in Ohio.
• Graduate of an approved radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
• Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintain proficiency in each area.
• Provide radiation safety for operator and patient.
• Place patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Summary of Position

The Sr. Radiology Technologist prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following OhioHealth and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) standards and protocols. The position requires proficiency in more than one modality and may include training in computed tomography (CT).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
• Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintain proficiency in each area.
• Provide radiation safety for operator and patient.
• Place patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). OR registered with the Ohio Department of Radiographers (ORD).
• Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
