Overview

Senior Quantitative Scientist, Infrastructure Lead (Analytic Solutions) – Remote. Report to the Sr. Director, Data and Science (Analytic Solutions).

  • Lead hands-on development and implementation of robust, scalable analytic workflows using real-world, messy healthcare data
  • Design, code, and execute high-quality analyses that power real-world evidence for commercial life science projects
  • Serve as the technical authority establishing best practices in code review, version control, and reproducibility (GitHub, analytic workflows, documentation)
  • Act as a technical advisor, framing the business impact of investments in scalable processes and infrastructure
  • Drive and execute commercial retrospective studies using electronic health records (EHR) data, including statistical analysis planning and algorithm development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Commercial, Product, Medical, Engineering) to translate clinical questions into actionable analytic approaches
  • Present and communicate findings to internal and external partners, supporting decision-making and innovation
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and scientific rigor, continuously improving methodological standards

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience with healthcare datasets (EHR, outcomes, messy/complex data) and advanced analytical methodologies
  • Strong track record supporting life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech organizations with impactful analytic services
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, cloud environments (AWS), Databricks, and Git-based workflows
  • Familiarity with clinical coding systems (ICD, CPT, RxNorm)
  • Direct experience completing real-world research and driving projects from planning through publication preferred
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and top-tier presentation skills
  • Prior experience in ophthalmology or urology clinical data

Pay ranges may vary for market conditions, location, and experience.
