Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Olive Branch, MS seeks a quality professional to research, develop and revise Quality Policies, Procedures, System Instructions and Engineering Standards that govern the Quality Engineering Department and related activities.

You will perform quality system audits, lead audit activities, provide training on statistical techniques for continuous improvement, and coordinate corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant quality experience in a quality systems management environment.
  • Two years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality system audits to ensure compliance to specifications and documented procedures.
  • Lead auditor responsibilities: planning, scheduling, conducting meetings, documenting results.
  • Provide training on statistical techniques for continuous improvement.
  • Establish standards to measure process performance and improvement.
  • Coordinate corrective action systems to ensure timely root cause analysis and effective CAPA.
  • Respond to customer requests for quality information.
  • Maintain knowledge of Milwaukee quality systems and certifying agency requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency in Total Quality Management and related trends and philosophies.

Meanwhile, you'll have the support and resources of the fastest-growing brand in the construction industry to make it happen.Your role on our team:Primary duty for this position is to research, develop and revise Quality Policies, Procedures, System Instructions, Engineering Standards and Work Instructions that govern the operations of the Quality Engineering Department and Quality-related activities of the Corporate Office, manufacturing facilities and distribution center.You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:Perform, process quality system audits to ensure compliance to specifications and documented procedures.
