Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager in Carson, CA to lead the Quality Management System and ensure products meet AS9100, customer, regulatory, and government contract requirements.

The role oversees audits, supplier quality, inspection, and continuous improvement, working with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to resolve quality issues. Base compensation ranges USD 145,000.00–165,000.00 for a salaried role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of quality experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• 3+ years of quality leadership/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, corrective actions, nonconformance, and root-cause analysis.
• Government contracting experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.

Quality Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the company's Quality Management System and ensuring products and processes meet AS9100, customer, regulatory, and government contract requirements. This role oversees quality assurance, audits, corrective actions, supplier quality, inspection, and continuous improvement.

Job Summary

• Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System.

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  
• 7+ years of quality experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
  
• 3+ years of quality leadership/management experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  
• Experience with audits, corrective action, nonconformance management, and root-cause analysis.
  
• Government contracting experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.
  
• Experience working with aerospace customers and/or government contractors preferred.

Base Compensation: USD 145,000.00 - 165,000.00
