What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to and investigate complaints of foodborne illness, food-related injury, and product defects/contamination
- Determine the root cause of substantiated allegations while minimizing product exposure and production downtime
- Ensure appropriateness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence; report on findings, conclusions, and recommendations
- Coordinate lab analyses and forensic examinations as necessary
- Assist in preparing reports associated with food-related incidents and collaborate with Supply Chain QA staff

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a dedicated food safety support role
- Two to three years of direct experience with regulatory requirements for food establishments
- Strong technical knowledge of retail food safety and HACCP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong reporting and technical writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline
- Certified Professional-Food Safety (CP-FS) credential or Registered Sanitarian/Environmental Health Specialist (RS/REHS) or equivalent credential
