Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Independent Consultant Sr. QA Tester- SOA for a 100% remote, 6+ month contract. The role requires 08+ years of experience, strong QA processes in Agile environments, and extensive automation.

You will work with remote teams, perform SOA/integration testing, and use Jira, CI tools, and various test frameworks to ensure quality across services. Ideal candidates have hands-on Selenium testing experience, familiarity with test data management and risk-based testing, and the

Qualifications

• 08+ years of QA experience in agile environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab.
• Proficient in defect tracking and root-cause analysis using Jira, Rally or similar.
• Strong knowledge of test automation concepts and approaches.
• Experience with remote teams and consulting delivery.
• Risk-based testing techniques and test data management.
• Ability to design and maintain modular automation scripts.
• Experience writing Selenium tests in Java or JavaScript.
• SOA/integration testing experience and log analysis.
• Experience with test runners (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine).
• Selenium Grid usage and distributed test execution.
• SQL for backend validation and data verification.
• Preference for Selenium in current project, Kibana/Splunk tools, and SAFe Agile.

Job Description:

Need minimum 08+ years of experience

• Experience working with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc.)
• Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools (Jira, Rally etc.)
• Strong understanding of test automation concepts and approaches.
• Experience working with or on remote teams
• Understand and utilize risk-based testing technique
