We are seeking a qualified SENIOR QA Construction Inspector for a large airfield project in Austin, Texas. Candidates should have 7-10 years' experience in earthwork, drainage, structures, asphalt, and concrete paving. DOT and FAA experience are preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect work for conformance with contract documents
• Document deficiencies and deviations
• Recognize and report problems/issues
• Perform construction inspections of structures, formwork, rebar, concrete, pipes, asphalt, and project grades
• Prepare daily reports and maintain records
• Take construction photos and verify material documentation
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and material testing
• Inspect TCP and SWPPP for compliance
• Review progress against schedule and payment applications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years' experience in transportation and/or aviation construction inspections
• Experience with DOT/FAA standards
• Proficient in computer software (Email, Word, Excel)

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in inclement weather and non-standard hours
• Must pass Security Clearance

Preferred Certifications:

• ACI Grade 1 (within 1 year)
• Level 1B Asphalt Specialist (within 1 year)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to machinery, dust, fumes, noise, weather
• Physical ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Willingness to work irregular hours and undergo background checks
