We are looking for a Sr. QA Automation Engineer - Bixby (Python) who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation suites for Bixby voice assistant on multiple devices.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for testing devices on different operating systems along with testing services and background products.
2. Create test plans and test cases driven by requirements/specifications.
3. Participate in sprint planning activities, daily stand-ups; help ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
4. Assist release engineering in managing releases.
5. Replace manual test suites with test automation when possible.
6. Work with partner teams to assure smooth project execution.

Required Experience and Education:

1. 7+ years of working experience in software quality assurance is preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience programming in Python.
3. Bachelor's or higher degree is preferred.
4. Must have experience with software testing techniques and approaches; ownership of test plan development and execution for customer-facing applications.
5. Candidates with coding and API testing will be preferred.
6. Experience in app testing on mobile phones, tablets, PCs, etc., is preferred.
7. Experience with Voice Assistants is preferred.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

1. Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
2. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Limited supervision and exercise of discretion.
5. Good knowledge of generic SQA tools (e.g., JIRA, Wiki, Git, Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
6. Sound knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins is expected.
7. Good verbal communication skills.
