Job summary

Aegistech in Northern NJ is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineering consultant to join our client’s team on a hybrid basis, onsite 3 days a week in Northern NJ. Local candidates only; no relocation.

This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B, OPT, CPT). The ideal candidate will bring 9+ years in software development, with 3+ years in automation using Selenium WebDriver with C#, 3+ years testing RESTful APIs, and 3+ years performance testing with Apache

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test plans and test specifications.
• Develop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools; document and summarize results.
• Facilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes through reporting.
• Review requirements documented as Functional Specifications, User Stories or Change Requests.
• Identify test data and prepare test cases for automation.
• Participate in system and regression testing.
• Manage and prioritize defects from detection through to resolution.
• Experience in participating in Defect Triage meetings.
• Must have test case design experience and knowledge of test case design techniques.

Job Description:

• 9+ years of proven experience in the software development industry, participating in a team environment
• 3+ years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C#.
• 3+ years of proven experience in testing web services such as RESTful API.
• 3+ years of proven experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter.
• 2+ years of working in a cloud-based development and production environment such as AWS.
• 2+ years of working experience with Databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
• 2+ years of working Experience with programming languages Python and C#.
• Familiarity with working in a Continuous Integration atmosphere.
• Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]
• Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan, test specification, and test case templates.
