Job Overview

We are looking for a senior Python developer to join a client in Jersey City, NJ. The role requires experience with Python, REST, ReactJS and preferably working within Global Markets financial services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands‑on programming experience in an object‑oriented language, preferably Python
• 7+ years experience as a senior developer on front‑office applications in banking services; knowledge of fixed‑income products is a plus
• 7+ years experience in quantitative research and development, ability to handle domain‑specific data analysis
• 7+ years experience in risk and pricing application development, a plus
• 7+ years experience in REST, ReactJS, or full‑stack development
• Experience with object databases as well as relational databases
• Experience or knowledge of trade surveillance and market misconduct in global markets is optional but a plus
• Subject‑matter expertise in working on the Quartz platform is a big plus
