Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a skilled programmer with backend and frontend expertise to join our Charlotte team. You will develop using Python with Django/Flask, build microservices, and drive modern DevOps practices in an Agile setting.

Responsibilities include API design, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and working with AWS/Azure/GCP. Experience with Jira, Artifactory, and Bitbucket is valued; a passion for learning new tech is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks (Django, Flask).
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices.
  • Experience with Artifactory for artifact storage and package management.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Jira workflows.
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation, release processes).
  • RESTful APIs and integration patterns knowledge.
  • Version control with Bitbucket.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration.
  • Background in test automation (PyTest, Selenium).
  • Understanding of security best practices and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

Seeking a highly skilled programmer with strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Python frameworks, UI frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110 - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand‑ups, etc.).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working.
  • Passion to learn new technology.
  • Relevant industry (banking middle/back office/Finance) experience.
