Job summary

Springer Nature is seeking a Senior Publisher to manage a portfolio of Computer Science journals, including hybrid and open access titles. You will report to an Executive Publisher and collaborate with Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Boards, and internal teams to drive performance, growth, and high standards of integrity.

The role is hybrid, based in New York or London, with travel as needed. Strong publishing background, data driven decision making, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing scholarly journals within publishing industry.
• Understanding of hybrid and fully open access models.
• Ability to translate data and market insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and growth of CS journals portfolio.
• Develop journal development plans using data, market intelligence and feedback.
• Identify growth opportunities through new journals or initiatives.
• Build relationships with Editors-in-Chief and Editorial Boards.
• Monitor KPIs and improve editorial workflows.
