Pay Range

This range is provided by Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

$110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Provide senior technical review and sign-off for reports and related work products (if at Senior level).
  • Provide technical direction to staff.
  • Maintain field staffing, plan, and implement project work.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and mentoring technical staff.
  • Establish and manage schedules, goals, and budgets.
  • Subcontract, manage construction, and supervise projects.
  • Develop environmental project opportunities.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Review RFPs and prepare winning proposals.
  • Participate in all aspects of environmental proposals, including presentations, planning, site audits, and cost breakdowns.
  • Negotiate cleanup goals and site closures with regulatory agencies such as EPA, RWQCB, DTSC, and AQMDs.
Education and Certifications

B.S. Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Engineering. Professional registration/certification (e.g., California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license) is REQUIRED. California Certified Hydrogeologist is a plus. OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour Certification.

Required Skills

Approximately 10+ years of recent professional environmental consulting experience. Ability to manage field contractors. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to interpret field data, conduct evaluations, and produce technical reports. Experience in project management, budget control, invoicing, and preparing project updates for clients, attorneys, and regulators.

Additional Details

Full-time position based in San Jose, Alameda, or West Sacramento, CA. Applicants in Orange or San Diego Counties with a California PE will also be considered.
