Rivian in California is seeking a Project Manager to translate program scope into executable plans, aligning parts, materials, procurement, timing, and cross‑functional coordination to move work with speed, quality, and clear ownership.
You will build and improve planning methods, identify risks, influence team execution, and define processes that support stronger build outcomes across VQAF, with strong Jira and data‑driven responsibilities.
Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions‑free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract. As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
This role is responsible for translating project scope into executable plans by aligning parts, materials, procurement, timing, and cross‑functional coordination so work moves with speed, quality, and clear ownership. The project manager operates with a level of independence and is expected to build structure across ambiguous or fast‑moving work. The project manager is accountable not only for supporting day‑to‑day coordination, but also for improving planning methods, preemptively identifying risks, influencing team execution, and defining the processes and standards that support stronger build outcomes across VQAF.
The salary range for this role is $98,500 - $123,100 for California based applicants.
