Our Project Delivery team within PPD clinical research services manages the technical and operational aspects of clinical trials, ensuring successful project completion. This includes collaborating with functional leads to identify issues and implement solutions, playing a vital role in delivering life-changing therapies.

We are seeking (Senior) Project Managers for our Neuroscience Team in the EMEA region, preferably based in Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Czechia, Poland, Ukraine, or Hungary.

Applicants should have experience in the following areas (please specify in your application):

  • Rare Diseases: DMD, ALS, FSHD, MG, CMT, Huntington’s Disease, Myotonic Dystrophy, SMA
  • Ophthalmology (early phase - PhII): Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, Age-related eye diseases
  • Neurodegenerative Disorders and Psychiatry: Schizophrenia, Depression, PTSD, Substance Abuse Disorders

Discover Impactful Work: Lead projects as the primary sponsor contact, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. Establish and communicate customer expectations, lead cross-functional teams, and manage project scope, risks, and compliance.

A Day in the Life:

  • Serve as the primary contact between sponsor and organization at the project level.
  • Ensure escalation pathways are followed internally and externally.
  • Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when applicable.
  • Manage financial aspects, including resource alignment, Out of Scope activities, and negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with sponsors to ensure project success.
  • Identify and resolve risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.

Keys to Success:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience (~8+ years).
  • Experience in Neuroscience studies related to the indicated conditions.
  • Proficiency with systems like Microsoft Office, CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity.
  • Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
