Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex migration engagements, partnering with customers and internal teams to define the approach, build the project plan, and deliver measurable customer value.

You will own governance for budget and schedule, drive data migration and code conversion, manage risks, and maintain alignment with Director and VP-level stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project or program management for complex technical migrations.
• Experience delivering data-related and cloud migration projects for enterprise customers.
• Trusted advisor to Director/VP-level stakeholders on technical delivery engagements.
• Strong executive communication across customer, partner, and internal teams.
• Direct experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and/or Cloud.
• Ability to translate across engineering, marketing, and business development.
• Strong presentation skills for senior-level audiences.
• Bonus: experience in a customer-facing technical role.

• As a trusted advisor, partner with Director and VP-level stakeholders to align and guide delivery.
• Leverage and improve program management methodologies and templates.
• Articulate project value through quantifiable outcomes.
• Support delivery updates with Sales and Professional Services teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products.
• Identify areas for process improvement within customer engagement and Snowflake.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will deliver complex migration projects and drive successful customer outcomes, working with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will serve as the Project Lead for strategic customers, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, collaborating with internal teams to define the approach, build the project plan, proactively mitigate risks, and execute on delivering customer value.

AS A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

• Be a project management expert on Snowflake implementation and migration engagements, coordinating across multiple workstreams efficiently
• Deliver Fixed Fee and highly scoped projects on time and within budget
• Own project governance for budget and revenue reconciliation
• Lead data migration and code conversion efforts
• Drive scope clarity with project teams and customer stakeholders
• Stay current with Agentic AI and modern AI technology implementation as it relates to migration delivery
• Be the driving force in project execution, use case identification, roadmapping, and risk analysis for the customer
• Drive planning and execution of the project plan, working collaboratively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Own the project lifecycle — ensuring the project meets all milestones and objectives characterized by on-time, on-budget, and predictable delivery
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including risks associated with adjacent workstreams that may be outside the direct scope of the engagement
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with workstream owners, setting clear expectations and maintaining timely communication
• As a trusted advisor, partner with customer Director and VP-level stakeholders to drive alignment and guide the project to successful delivery
• Leverage and improve program management methodology — processes, tools, templates, and checklists
• Champion customer outcomes and clearly articulate project value in quantifiable metrics
• Drive customer satisfaction expressed through surveys, renewals, and additional opportunities for Snowflake
• Work with Professional Services Practice Teams and Sales Account Teams to support scoping, estimating, creating delivery proposals, and providing regular delivery updates
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and processes
• Identify areas for process improvement within both the customer engagement and Snowflake

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

• 7+ years of experience in a Project or Program Manager role (or similar capacity) dealing with complex, technical implementation and/or migration projects
• Must have recent experience successfully delivering complex data-related and/or cloud-based migration projects for enterprise customers
• Must have served as a trusted advisor to Director or VP-level stakeholders on technical delivery engagements
• Strong executive communication and relationship management skills across customer, partner, and internal teams
• Must have direct experience in the Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and/or Cloud field
• Proven ability to communicate and translate effectively across multiple groups — from engineering to marketing and business development
• Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate to both business and technical audiences, including senior-level stakeholders at large enterprises
• Bonus Points: Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solution Architect, Systems Administrator, Technical Account Manager, or equivalent)
