Pay Range: $128,689.60 - $186,596.80/annually

Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager assists the Executive Director of construction with the planning, managing, and controlling of the day-to-day operations and services provided by the Campus Development Planning, Design + Construction Department. The Sr. Project Manager position has overall responsibility for planning, design and construction project management projects. The Sr. Project Manager aides in insuring that a safe and positive environment of care is maintained by the various systems, program, and staff members within the facility, including strict adherence to the interim life safety assessment and implementation processes. The Sr. Project Manager has ownership of all planning, design and construction projects assigned by the Executive Director and leads each project from budgeting through completion. Knowledge of the building structure, code and regulatory requirements are required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • 10 + years' experience in the management of construction projects and supervisory experience, preferably including hospital construction.
  • Knowledge of project management including the use of: project scheduling techniques; cost estimating; construction materials and methods used in health care facilities.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission, NFPA, and Title 24 codes and regulations.
  • Detailed knowledge of the process of preparing construction documents and various project delivery methods used in health-care facilities.
  • Computer skills – Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Extremely effective in verbal and written communications and Excellent customer-service skills and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment, understanding and support of the organization performance improvement plan.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
