Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, EPMO to join our team. The role leads multiple large, complex projects across the organization, identifying risks and ensuring governance through the Navitus EPMO framework.

You will partner with leadership to develop business cases, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, mentor other PMs, and apply Waterfall and Agile practices to deliver high-quality outcomes while aligning with HIPAA and healthcare industry needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-related experience.
5 years’ enterprise project experience with IT/data elements if PM-certified or 7 years if not PM-certified.
Waterfall and Agile methodologies required; HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple complex projects with interdependent resources and act as project owner through all phases.
Document activities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and budgets; manage scope and timelines.
Prepare schedules, milestones, and manage spend with proper approvals and forecasts.
Provide governance updates to senior leadership and EPMO stakeholders.
Mentor other project managers and promote PM best practices (Waterfall/Agile).

Pay Range

USD $101,335.00 - USD $126,669.00 /Yr.

STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum)

Overview

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, EPMO to join our team!

The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO is responsible for collaborating across the organization to plan, develop and execute large, simultaneous complex projects in response to priorities set by portfolio governance oversight bodies including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO proactively identifies risks to the overall plan as it relates to scope, timeline, and budget and facilitates the project change request process providing comprehensive analysis as a result of thorough fact finding and solution evaluation. This position begins project work prior to initiation, working with leadership to develop business case and cost benefits analysis, facilitating approval through Navitus EPMO governance oversight. The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO leverages industry best practices, business acumen, and experience to ensure successful and timely delivery of high-quality projects with return on stated benefits.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

Lead multiple complex projects with complex resource interdependencies concurrently. Act as the visible, project owner in all phases of the projects and add value as a subject matter expert (SME) to project and portfolio related processes.
Document and manage activities, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and risk mitigation plans in order to complete projects on time, within scope and authorized budgets.
Prepare project schedules, including identification of major milestones, for overseeing, controlling, communicating, and managing all activities required to complete project.
Establish and maintain budget; provide validation, tracking and documentation for all related spend with proper approvals. Maintain accurate forecast and provide analysis reporting on project spend. Evaluate and analyze budget to actual to forecast; work with leadership to facilitate spend-specific decisions.
Document all key decisions. Analyze project decisions for impact across the enterprise portfolio; work collaboratively to resolve conflicts and ensure communication across the appropriate channels and stakeholders.
Conduct project communication planning, facilitate project teams, and provide oversight team, stakeholder, and sponsor updates.
Collaborate with appropriate subject matter experts to design solutions to meet the requirements of the project. Ensure appropriate testing occurs throughout the solution development and delivery process to mitigate and manage issues.
Regularly review the strategic approach and overall project effectiveness making changes where necessary to achieve optimal performance.
Mentor project managers, team members and Navitus leaders to develop and grow an understanding of Navitus project management methodologies. Provide leadership and best practices in program, project, change management techniques and methods as applicable. Provide leadership in methodologies including, but not limited to, Waterfall and Agile.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-related experience required.
Certification in project methodology or Agile certification (i.e. Six Sigma, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP) preferred.
5 years’ experience in enterprise projects from initiation to implementation that include IT and data elements if project management certified or 7 years if not project management certified required.
Waterfall and Agile methodologies required.
Core software applications, including Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint required.
Project tracking tools (MS Project, ADO, PPM Pro, Smartsheets) required.
3 years healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry practices and HIPAA knowledge required.
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
