TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Project Manager Engineer to drive delivery of multiple product development projects within the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Business Unit. The role supports remote, hybrid, or on-site work with up to 10% travel and close collaboration with global teams.

Reporting to a Portfolio Manager the Sr. Project Manager Engineer position holder will have primary responsibility for delivery of a series of Product Development Projects in the Connector’s Group within the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Business Unit. The Senior Project Manager is a prominent Project Management role with TE and the position holder will drive the successful performance of multiple high profile/value projects following defined methods and processes to achieve commercial and efficiency targets set by the business. The role is open to remote working, but proximity to a TE site for on-boarding and, when required, in-person work would be advantageous. There is also the option of full time on-site or hybrid remote and on-site working. Global Travel is possible up to 10% of the time (when customers and restrictions allow).
This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively “items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these regulations, it may be necessary for TE to verify a candidate’s national origin and/or citizenship status to determine whether a U.S. or other government export license is required prior to releasing its technologies to the candidate. Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
The ideal candidate will have five or more years proven experience of leadership over multiple contiguous projects including those within a regulated field. They will have a track record of successful delivery of customer-facing product development projects following a Stage Gate process in a hardware product development / manufacturing environment.
