Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) seeks a Sr Project Manager to lead high-risk, high-complexity defense programs from design through to release and closeout. You will develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring all requirements are met and coordinating with internal and external teams.

You will oversee resources, risk, and performance metrics, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and customers to achieve on-time, on-budget results in a hybrid office/remote setting.

Qualifications

  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Experience managing project scope and preventing scope creep.
  • Experience with resource planning and management during project execution.
  • Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.

You will assist in Program Integration Management, data analytics, and variance analysis to improve program performance in a highly integrated environment.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
