Job summary

Starburst Data is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee strategic projects and client initiatives. You will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring success within scope, time, and budget.

This role requires extensive PM experience in data analytics, strong communication, and proactive ownership. Based in the US East, you will work with engineering, product, and sales to deliver value and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the technology sector, preferably in data analytics.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
• PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer adoption by ensuring delivered solutions deliver business value.
• Act as trusted advisor with industry best practices.
• Identify opportunities for expanding client engagement and value.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices in PM.

About The Role

Starburst Data is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering strategic projects that contribute to the success of Starburst and its clients. This role requires a combination of strong project management skills, technical acumen, effective communication abilities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

As a Senior Project Manager At Starburst You Will

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to drive project success.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations using highly organized working methods.
• Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations to the leadership team.
• Establish clear lines of communication within the project team and with key stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and elevate issues as needed.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with Company X’s commitment to excellence.

The salary range provided for this role reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates across all U.S. locations and could be inclusive of variable compensation, such as commission or bonus.
