Job summary

BASYS Processing is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise‑scale initiatives across business, product, technology, and operations. The role requires coordinating multi‑workstream programs with a strong PMO framework and high autonomy.

You will drive delivery, manage risks, and influence stakeholders to ensure cohesive, outcomes‑driven execution across the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives from intake through execution and delivery outcomes.
• Integrate and connect cross-functional workstreams (technical and functional) and identify dependencies and gaps.
• Translate business strategy into executable project plans across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, sequencing, ownership, resources, and timelines.
• Drive accountability across teams and vendors to meet commitments on time and within scope.
• Identify risks and execution gaps early and drive mitigation planning and resolution.
• Influence stakeholders and align teams around shared objectives with proactive communication.
• Establish clear communication frameworks providing actionable updates and decisions to leadership.

Functions as a peer leader who influences without authority, aligning stakeholders across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go‑To‑Market teams to deliver cohesive business outcomes—not just individual project milestones.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives, ensuring alignment from intake through execution and delivery outcomes
• Integrate and connect cross-functional workstreams (technical and functional), proactively identifying dependencies, gaps, and blind spots across projects
• Translate business strategy into executable project plans, ensuring alignment across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go‑To‑Market teams
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, sequencing, ownership, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution utilizing the Basys PMO Framework
• Drive accountability across teams and vendors, ensuring commitments are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality expectations
• Identify risks, issues, and execution gaps early, leading mitigation planning and driving resolution with appropriate escalation when needed
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, aligning teams around shared objectives, challenging assumptions, clarifying ambiguity, and ensuring ownership gaps are addressed
• Establish clear and proactive communication frameworks, providing actionable updates, risks, trade‑offs, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership

Additional Responsibilities

• Leverage project and product tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk, workflow tools) to manage execution visibility and coordination at scale
• Utilize Microsoft tools (including AI capabilities) to enhance planning, reporting, and day‑to‑day operational efficiency
• Facilitate risk reviews, status reviews, and cross‑functional working sessions to maintain alignment and execution momentum
• Contribute to resource planning and prioritization discussions, identifying capacity constraints and sequencing opportunities across initiatives
• Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting artifacts, and process improvements to support consistency and scalability
• Continuously improve delivery processes and operating models, identifying opportunities to streamline execution and reduce inefficiencies

Requirements

• This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to 2 days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.

Education & Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 5+ years of experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects or programs
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-workstream enterprise initiatives
• Strong understanding of both technical delivery and business operations
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience with project/product tools (JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk or similar)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency preferred
• Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments preferred
• PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification preferred
