The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, proven leadership of complex projects, and strong communication with owners, architects, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with multifamily/high-rise focus.
• Proven track record managing ground-up multifamily or high-rise developments.
• Experience overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of multifamily and high-rise projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Lead and coordinate Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and project documentation.
• Lead client meetings, provide updates, and maintain relationships.
• Oversee project closeout, inspections, punch lists, and final turnover.

Position Overview

An established general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multifamily and high-rise construction projects in South Florida. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final completion, ensuring financial performance, schedule adherence, quality control, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in ground‑up multifamily and high‑rise construction, with experience managing complex projects and leading project teams in a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of multifamily and high‑rise construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
• Lead and coordinate Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, negotiations, and contract administration.

• Previous experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and other construction management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
