Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead a manufacturing site ERP implementation in Arizona, driving planning, governance, and cross-functional coordination from planning through deployment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience, PMP/PgMP/MSP certification, and hands-on ERP implementation expertise. You will collaborate with IT, PMO, and manufacturing teams while guiding future ERP migrations and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 15+ years of overall PM experience preferred
• PMP/PgMP/MSP or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience delivering ERP/project implementations on time and within budget
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Freedman, Infor, SAP, Oracle or similar
• Strong governance, reporting, KPI and risk management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of a new manufacturing site ERP implementation in Arizona
• Co-author project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables with ERP SMEs
• Establish and configure a new business entity/site within the ERP environment
• Coordinate integration of manufacturing, warehousing, financial, engineering, and CPQ systems
• Manage project governance, reporting, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and escalations
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Facilitate collaboration across IT, PMO, engineering, manufacturing, and business teams
• Drive stakeholder communication with leadership and executive teams
• Identify and mitigate project risks impacting timelines and objectives
• Support future migration from Freedman ERP to Infor ERP
• Ensure compliance with IT processes, policies, and standards
• Promote PMO best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a top distribution transformer manufacturing client. This individual will play a critical role in establishing and implementing ERP capabilities for a new Arizona manufacturing facility ahead of a larger enterprise ERP migration initiative. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, partnering closely with technical experts to build project plans, facilitate implementation activities, manage integrations, and drive execution from planning through deployment. This person will work within the current Freedman ERP environment while helping position the organization for a future transition to Infor ERP. The role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and manufacturing industry experience, with a focus on delivering business-critical initiatives that support operational growth, efficiency, and long-term strategic objectives.

Day-to-Day

• Lead planning and execution of a new manufacturing site ERP implementation in Arizona
• Co-author project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables alongside ERP subject matter experts
• Establish and configure a new business entity/site within the existing ERP environment
• Coordinate integration of manufacturing, warehousing, financial, engineering, and CPQ systems
• Manage project governance, reporting, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and escalations
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Facilitate collaboration across IT, PMO, engineering, manufacturing, and business teams

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience
• PMP, PgMP, MSP, or equivalent Project/Program Management certification
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies
• Strong program governance, reporting, KPI, and performance management experience
• Experience managing budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities in complex environments
• Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Hands-on ERP project implementation experience
• Experience facilitating project plans, schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred, especially environments with operational complexity
• Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• IT Program Management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP systems such as Freedman, Infor, SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehousing, engineering, and financial business functions
• Familiarity with CPQ and engineering system integrations
• Experience standing up new sites/plants within ERP environments
• Strong strategic planning and organizational leadership skills
• Experience managing complex multi-project portfolios
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and related PM tools
• Experience driving PMO best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
