Kapella Group seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant commercial construction projects in Centennial, CO, managing turnover through closeout independently for a trusted General Contractor.

The role requires handling financials, master schedules, and subcontractor coordination while fostering client relationships and guiding junior team members toward broader operational leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial construction with a General Contractor, and at least 6 years overall Construction PM experience.
• Strong financial and schedule management, contract expertise, and accountability.
• Must have been the primary PM for a General Contractor, not a specialty-trade role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full project ownership, including financials, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Manage master schedules, milestones, and recovery planning.
• Oversee subcontractors, contracts, buyout, change orders, and pay applications.
• Cultivate relationships with owners, architects, and field teams.
• Mentor junior staff (APMs, Superintendents) with room to grow into broader operational leadership.
